We are delighted to use this opportunity to showcase Cheshire West and Chester. We have embarked on an exciting project to build an entirely new organisation with its own identity and culture. We hope you are as excited as we are regarding the challenges and opportunities this presents and passionate about delivering value for money quality services to our residents and visitors..

The challenges are many –  our new Chief Executive will have to make an immediate impact – leading change and empowering our staff. You will need to maximise effectiveness and efficiencies, improve service delivery and develop a committed and effective workforce.

Following elections on the 1st May, Cheshire West and Chester has a Conservative administration who are very keen to create an exciting and efficient new Authourity where our staff enjoy working and where residents will be delighted with their Council.

We are very keen for this to work well and deliver for local people. Your experience of working with elected members will be valued and utilised, as will your sound advice and judgement. Most of all, we want a Chief Executive who will bring inspiration and leadership, who can be brave and who will help us deliver on our promises.
