By bringing together the councils of Ellesmere Port and Neston, Chester, Vale Royal and Cheshire County Council, residents will gain access to all council services through one approachable and responsive organisation

The new Council will be the fourth largest authority in the North West giving it a powerful strategic voice in the UK and enabling it to drive forward initiatives to support the development of its communities

Joint working will be a key focus of Cheshire West and Chester. By building on the firm foundations created by the district councils and county council the new Council will be able to deliver services effectively and flexibly
